In Year Admissions to Ponsbourne St. Mary's C of E VC School

In year admissions are handled by the County admissions department.  Families who move into the area, should contact the in-year admission team to find out which schools in the area have spaces.

You may also contact the school on 01707 872395 to see if we have places in the year groups you require. The number of places in a school is set according to the accommodation available in the school. The result is an admissions limit, which, for Ponsbourne St. Mary’s School, is 15 children for each school year in Reception to Year 2 and 15 children in each school year from Year 3 to Year 6.

If there are sufficient spaces within the school, you will be invited to visit the school and receive a guided tour. Should you then wish to enrol your child/children; the relevant paper work will be given to you on this visit.

If there are no places available, you will be offered the chance to go on the waiting list.  The order on the waiting list is determined by the admission rules.  Please see the section on Reception admissions for a full list of these.
